Happy Holidays 2009

In the Mail

In a message with a friend I remembered, I total forgot to get my two latest announcement creations up here for all of you to see. Identifying information has been altered, but you get the idea. I saved putting them up on the blog so that they could be a surprise for the families receiving them. Now that they are in the mail I can share them with everyone! The fianl product is a double-sided 5x7 postcard, they are gorgeous!

(mom wanted the announcements to double as thank-you notes or just have a spot to write a message, that's the little area with the monogram. Can't you just see it with a hand-written, "thanks for the casserole!" ?)

Here it is mom, I need the actual info, and then I'll email you the back with the real stats for you to proof. Let me know how many sets you want, one set is on me as a thank you for letting me practice on your little man. The rest of your proofs will come soon, but I am sure you want to get these out and cross it off your to-do list.

Announcing Micah

Micah's Birth Announcement, presented as Front at left and Back at Right, but really it could be either way, information rather random because, well, it is the interweb.

Mom, you will be getting a set of these as a thank-you gift for letting me learn with your son, stop it, you will, no arguing with me! Just let me know if you or the grandparents want anymore sets as the shipping is a flat rate and I can order them all together. Also, I need the actual correct information again, I seem to have misplaced it.

Princess Party

The invites have been ordered. Hope to have them out to all of Penny's little friends by next weekend. The real ones have a little more information. I really like how the back turned out, it's my favorite.

Double the Party

Matt and Kelsey are not only step brother and sister, they are both going to be 2009 HS grads!

So here are the preliminary proofs for the grad party invite. Let me know if you guys can find fuller resolution files. I'll have a little bit of editing to do after I know which files I am using, but this should be close to the final, you know minus the blurred out info.

My Aunt and her husband have been Browns Season Pass Holders to the Dawg Pound for, well, forever. How can you resist taking a crack at a holiday card like this one? If you aren't into Santa Hats, there's always the less adulterated version below.


If you like it Linda there is some final tweaking I'll do like clearing out the background of your photo from under Denny, but this is what it would look like for the most part unless you have any suggestions/preferences or wording changes. I know it wasn't what you necessarily had in mind and it's not what I was originally going for either, it just sort of came together this way.

Price Family Fall 2008

My favorite little godson and his family were nice enough to give me a crack at a holiday card and a family photo shoot. Thanks guys for being my guinea pigs. Sorry this was a bit in coming to the blog for viewing, but then you've seen most of it already.

Suver Family Fall 2008, and Holiday Card

All right people, be gentle, I've never done this before. My first portraits with adults, and my first family portrait. It does help when you have pretty, patient, and photogenic friends. Also down at the bottom, my first try at Portrait Holiday Cards, this is just the first draft, let me know what you do like. Or rave endlessly about them, that works too.
