Fall on the "Farm"

A crazy, fun, and full session at a local park with this gorgeous family of 5. Charlie loves tractors, so we busted out his John Deere gear for some play shots at the end. Followers will recognize this family, Alison from her little sis's maternity and newborn sessions as well as her own 4th birthday pics this summer, Charlie was in some of the group newborn pics too. And of course, we all know baby Rachel, she of infamous 21 hour labor photo shoot fame! She is getting so big and adorable, can't wait to see her again for a solo shoot just for her 6 month birthday! I think Mom and Dad look pretty fabulous for 3 kids under the age of 4! You'll see some of these photos featured in the holiday card gallery on christmas day.

Brownies

My Aunt and Uncle are HUGE Browns fans, Dawg Pound Season Ticket holders, and owners of a Browns basement that rivals any museum. . .including some liberated bleacher pieces from the old stadium. So when they came down for a visit they brought some of their favorite Browns gear to wear as we explored a new park with my kids. Hopefully the photos will lend themselves to a great holiday card! Watch out for that littlest Browns fan, he can still be a linebacker with one kidney! Love you guys!

Three of a Kind

This family had such character! We had a lot of fun, that is after we got our blood moving! Who knew it would be so cold that early in the morning? The kids were real sports and although we never got the three of them in a shot together, we got some really beautiful shots. Mom even posed for a few quick shots at the end for Dad to put up in his locker at the station (and you should know all three kids were in full meltdown not more than 15 feet from us, it was awesome). Next time we have the kids wear coats or plan a warmer session!

Rock It

Don't think you remember this little guy, you will from his sneak peek, those blue eyes stole all your hearts. Such a treat to work with this family and to discover a new park together, and all of its various quirks and gems. I mean for a little boy you can't go wrong with lots of water combined with lots of rocks to throw! I can't wait till next time down at their place to try and capture more of their wonderful family connection. Truly a great time guys, hope you love them, I have quite a few favorites.

Puddle Stomp
At last, the much anticipated, rain shoot. This shoot was such a blast. I had so much fun with this family!
Ok I'm not a videographer, but how could you not run some video. Wish I had two cameras so I could have used a different lens for the video, but somehow I know the kids will love watching themselves on the computer!

The Princess and Her Squires
I met this little princess along with her three brothers at the Cox Arboretum. I neglected to adequately inform the parents of this merry band that a shoot with 4 young active children can be quite the workout! Or as dad said it, we had a little session of "photo-cize." These kids had so much fun hiking the trails, it was such a blast running after them! We only got a family shot or two by cornering them on some stairs and having a contest for who could laugh the loudest (in that series, look at the last one, and the pout on little sister's face, the shot and lighting isn't the best but that pout is priceless). What a wonderful shoot you all, I hope you had as much fun as I did.

Ella Bella
I am a little partial seeing as she is my niece, but I think Ella has the most beautiful eyes. And those are all hers not some trick of photoshop. I am so happy to finally be posting these, we delayed the shoot till after her vacation and then snuck it in before I went to california and Josh's surgery. Now, at last, here they are, Happy Big One Ella!

The Evan Belly
He's cute, even when he's still on the inside.
We tried an alternative "hands on the belly shot" because, well, they each had ice cream in their other hand. And Avery was just fine, the band-aids are like bling to the girl.
Again props to the whole family it was 90 degrees that day and being near the water didn't make it much cooler.

Big Day
It was a big day. Mom finally got pictures of the kids and the family. Dad got a new job, hello Knoxville! Thanks again for a wonderful session and a great morning!

Brownie Xmas

My Aunt and her husband have been Browns Season Pass Holders to the Dawg Pound for, well, forever. How can you resist taking a crack at a holiday card like this one? If you aren't into Santa Hats, there's always the less adulterated version below.

If you like it Linda there is some final tweaking I'll do like clearing out the background of your photo from under Denny, but this is what it would look like for the most part unless you have any suggestions/preferences or wording changes. I know it wasn't what you necessarily had in mind and it's not what I was originally going for either, it just sort of came together this way.

Price Family Fall 2008

My favorite little godson and his family were nice enough to give me a crack at a holiday card and a family photo shoot. Thanks guys for being my guinea pigs. Sorry this was a bit in coming to the blog for viewing, but then you've seen most of it already.
If you can't tell it was a very sunny cloudless day.

Hall Art
Well, I didn't think you guys would want collages, so I was glad to get a chance to have fun with them, here is what one night of work netted you, let me know if there is anything else you'd still like to see.

Okay, I'm not sure if these last two got too busy, let me know if you want me to remove the quotes, or if on the second one reduce it to two pictures instead of four.

Halls in the Fall
All right Halls, here they are. Let me know which ones you like and you'll have the order next time I go to Costco, 8x10, 5x7, 4x6, or wallet. Yes I want to print them for you so I can make sure they turn out, it's my one mandate, I want to see the first prints, and I trust my pals at Costco (I'm on a first name basis with them all). You'll then get the disc and you can do whatever and print wherever after that. As always, click the images to see them larger.

Suver Family Fall 2008, and Holiday Card

All right people, be gentle, I've never done this before. My first portraits with adults, and my first family portrait. It does help when you have pretty, patient, and photogenic friends. Also down at the bottom, my first try at Portrait Holiday Cards, this is just the first draft, let me know what you do like. Or rave endlessly about them, that works too. As always click the photo to view larger. Too late people! The Suvers asked me to take their holiday card proofs down so they can surprise their families. If you are interested in having me do a holiday card, email me and I can send you the proofs to view to see if you like what I did.
